Notice how each sentence starts with a capital letter and ends with a full stop. This helps the reader understand where one thought ends and another begins.

Now, let’s work together to create sentences. I will say a word, and you will help me form a sentence. For example, if I say 'izinkanyezi' (stars), you might say, 'Izinkanyezi zikhanya phezulu.' (The stars shine above.) Remember to use capital letters at the beginning and full stops at the end. Let’s try a few more words together!
