Let's say we want to find out what fruit our classmates like the most. We can ask each student their favorite fruit and record their answers. For example, if 5 students like apples, 3 like bananas, and 2 like oranges, we can create a bar chart. Each bar will represent the number of students who like each fruit. The height of the bar shows how many students chose that fruit, making it easy to compare their preferences.

Now, let's conduct a survey in class. I will ask each of you to tell me your favorite color. As you respond, I will write down the answers on the board. After collecting the data, we will create a bar chart together. We will discuss which color is the most popular and how many students chose each color. This will help us practice organizing and interpreting data.
