We will discuss what makes a good story, such as interesting characters, a clear setting, and an exciting plot. Let's think about our favorite stories and what we love about them.

Let's create a short story together. We will start with a character. For example, 'There was a brave little lion named Leo.' Next, we need a setting: 'He lived in a beautiful jungle filled with tall trees and colorful flowers.' Finally, we add a plot: 'One day, Leo decided to explore the jungle and find a hidden treasure.' Notice how we use punctuation to separate our ideas and make the story clear.

In small groups, I want you to create your own short story. Start by choosing a character and a setting. Then, think of an adventure they might have. Remember to use full sentences and correct punctuation. After 10 minutes, each group will share their story with the class. This will help us practice speaking and listening skills.
