Let’s look at an example of a dream day. 'On my dream day, I would wake up early and eat my favorite breakfast, pancakes with syrup. Then, I would go to the beach with my family. We would build sandcastles and swim in the ocean. In the afternoon, we would have a picnic under the sun. Finally, we would watch the sunset together.' Notice how each sentence has a clear idea and uses punctuation correctly.

Now, let’s create sentences together. I will ask you to share one activity you would like to do on your dream day. I will write your ideas on the board. As we write, pay attention to how we use capital letters at the beginning of sentences and periods at the end. For example, if a student says, 'I want to ride a horse,' I will write, 'I want to ride a horse.' Let’s make sure we are using proper spacing between words.
