Let’s look at a simple story: 'Mpho o ne a le monyane, empa o ne a rata ho bapala le metsoalle ea hae. Ka letsatsi le leng, ba ile ba etela serapa sa borai. Ba ile ba bona liphoofolo tse ngata.' This story introduces a character, Mpho, and describes an event. Notice how we use punctuation to separate sentences and make the story clear.

Now, let’s work together to create a story. I will start with a sentence: 'Lerato o ne a le monyane, empa o ne a na le phihlelo e kholo.' What do you think should happen next? Let’s brainstorm ideas together. Remember to think about who the characters are and where the story takes place. We will write down our ideas and form them into sentences.
