Today, we will explore creative writing by imagining our dream day. A dream day is a day where everything goes perfectly, and we can do whatever we want. We will think about what activities we would enjoy, who we would spend time with, and where we would go. As we write, we will focus on using complete sentences, proper punctuation, and spacing between words.

Let’s look at an example: 'On my dream day, I would wake up early and have a big breakfast with pancakes and syrup. After breakfast, I would go to the beach with my friends. We would play in the sand and swim in the ocean. In the evening, we would have a picnic under the stars.' Notice how each sentence tells a part of the story and uses punctuation correctly.

Now, let’s discuss our ideas in small groups. Each group will share what their dream day looks like. Think about the activities, the people you would like to be with, and the places you would want to visit. After discussing, each group will choose one dream day to share with the class. Remember to listen carefully to your classmates and ask questions about their ideas.

Now it’s time to write your own dream day! Use the ideas we discussed and write at least five sentences about what your dream day would be like. Make sure to use correct punctuation and spacing. After you finish writing, you can illustrate your dream day with a drawing. Once everyone is done, we will have a sharing session where you can read your writing to the class.
