Let’s look at a simple story: 'Mokhantso o ne a le monyane, a rata ho bapala le metsoalle ea hae. Ka letsatsi le leng, ba ile ba etela serapa sa liphoofolo.' Notice how the sentences are structured and how punctuation is used to separate ideas. This helps the reader understand the story better.

Now, let’s create our own character together. I will ask you questions: What is your character's name? What do they like to do? How do they look? Write down your answers. After that, we will combine our ideas to create a short description of our character. Remember to use full sentences and correct punctuation.

Now it’s your turn! Write a short story about a day in the life of your character. Use at least five sentences and make sure to include proper punctuation. After you finish writing, read your story to a partner and discuss what you liked about each other’s stories.
