Let's look at how to build a sentence. For example, if we take the words 'cat', 'is', and 'sleeping', we can arrange them to form a complete sentence: 'The cat is sleeping.' Notice how we used a capital letter at the beginning and a full stop at the end. This is how we ensure our sentences are clear and correct.

I will read a short story aloud. As I read, pay close attention to the details. After the story, we will have a discussion. I will ask questions like, 'What was the main idea of the story?' and 'Who were the characters?' This will help you practice your listening and speaking skills as you share your thoughts with the class.

Now, it's your turn to practice writing sentences. I will give you a list of words: 'dog', 'barks', 'loudly'. Use these words to create a complete sentence. Remember to start with a capital letter and end with a full stop. After writing your sentence, share it with a partner and discuss what your sentence means.
