Now, if we want to ask a question, we can say, 'Do you like soccer?' This sentence ends with a question mark. Lastly, if we want to express excitement, we can say, 'I won the game!' This sentence ends with an exclamation mark. Notice how the punctuation changes the meaning of the sentence.

Now, let’s create sentences as a class. I will give you a subject, and you will help me complete the sentence. For example, if I say 'The dog...', you might say 'The dog is barking.' Let’s write it on the board together. Remember to start with a capital letter and end with the correct punctuation. After we write a few sentences, we will read them aloud and check for correct punctuation and spacing.
