Creative writing allows us to express our thoughts and imaginations. Today, we will write about our dream day. A dream day is a day where everything is perfect and fun. Think about what activities you would do, who you would spend time with, and where you would go. We will share our ideas in pairs before writing them down.

Let’s look at an example. 'On my dream day, I would wake up early and have breakfast with my family. After that, we would go to the beach. I would build sandcastles and swim in the ocean. In the evening, we would have a picnic under the stars.' Notice how the sentences are clear and use punctuation correctly. Each idea flows into the next.

Now, let’s discuss in pairs what your dream day would look like. Take turns sharing your ideas. Remember to listen carefully to your partner and ask questions about their dream day. After discussing, we will come back together and share some of our ideas with the class. This will help us think about how to structure our writing.

It’s time to write! Using the ideas from your discussion, write a short paragraph about your dream day. Make sure to use correct punctuation and spacing. Start with a clear opening sentence, describe your activities, and end with a closing thought. Once you finish writing, we will have a few volunteers share their paragraphs with the class.
