Notice how we can change our voice to show excitement or calmness while reading. For example, when we say 'The sun was shining brightly,' we can use a cheerful tone.

Now, let's split into small groups. Each group will choose a short text from our reading corner. Take turns reading the text aloud to each other. Pay attention to your expression and try to make the story come alive. After reading, discuss with your group what the text was about and how it made you feel. Remember to use correct punctuation when reading!

For independent practice, write three sentences about your favorite activity. Make sure to use correct punctuation and spacing. After writing, read your sentences aloud to a partner.
