Creative writing allows us to express our thoughts and imaginations. Today, we will write about our dream day. A dream day is a day where everything goes perfectly, and we can do anything we want. Think about what activities you would include, who you would spend it with, and where you would go. Remember to use descriptive words to make your writing interesting!

Let’s look at an example: 'On my dream day, I would wake up to the sound of birds singing. I would have a big breakfast with pancakes and syrup. After breakfast, I would go to the beach with my friends. We would build sandcastles and swim in the ocean. In the evening, we would have a picnic under the stars.' Notice how each sentence has a clear idea and uses punctuation correctly.

Now, let’s discuss our dream days in small groups. Each person will share one activity they would do on their dream day. Listen carefully to your friends and think about how you can use their ideas in your writing. After everyone has shared, we will come back together and talk about some of the best ideas we heard.

It’s time to write your own dream day! Use the ideas you discussed in your groups. Write at least five sentences about what you would do. Remember to start each sentence with a capital letter and end with the correct punctuation. After you finish writing, read your text to a partner and check if they understand your dream day.
