The phrase 'What a beautiful day!' is a complete sentence because it has a subject and a verb, and it expresses a full thought. Notice how it ends with an exclamation mark to show excitement.
Now, let's create sentences as a class. I will give you a subject, and you will help me complete the sentence. For example, if I say 'The dog', you might say 'The dog is barking.' Let's write it down together. Remember to start with a capital letter and end with a full stop. After we write it, we will read it aloud and check for punctuation.
