Now, let’s break into small groups. Each group will discuss what they think Thabo should do with the puppy. Use sentences like 'I think Thabo should...' or 'He could take the puppy to...'. After 5 minutes, each group will share their ideas with the class. This will help us practice speaking in front of others and listening to different opinions.

For independent practice, I want you to write three sentences about your favorite animal. Remember to use correct punctuation at the end of each sentence. After writing, read your sentences to a partner. This will help you practice both writing and speaking skills.
