Where did you feel you needed to slow down or change your voice?

For independent practice, write five sentences about your favorite animal. Make sure to use correct punctuation and spacing. After writing, read your sentences aloud to yourself, focusing on fluency and expression. You can also illustrate your sentences if you have time. This will help you practice reading your own writing with the same fluency and expression we practiced today.
