We will learn about five new words: 'curious', 'adventure', 'discover', 'imagine', and 'explore'. Each of these words has a special meaning that can help us describe our experiences.
Let's look at how we can use our new vocabulary words in sentences. For example, 'I am curious about the stars in the sky.' Here, 'curious' describes how I feel. Another example is, 'We went on an adventure in the forest.' In this sentence, 'adventure' tells us what we did. Notice how each word adds meaning to the sentence.
Now, let's work together to create sentences using our vocabulary words. I will say a word, and you will help me form a sentence. For instance, if I say 'discover', you might say, 'I want to discover new places.' After we create a few sentences together, I will ask you to share your own sentences with a partner. Remember to use correct punctuation!
For your independent practice, I want you to write a short paragraph using at least three of the vocabulary words we learned today. Make sure to include proper punctuation and spacing. Once you finish writing, you will read your paragraph to a classmate. This will help you practice your speaking skills as well.
