Now, let’s practice writing a short dialogue. In pairs, think of a conversation between two friends who are planning a picnic. Use correct punctuation and spacing. For example, 'UThandiwe: “Ngabe sithathe ukudla?” UMusa: “Yebo, ngizothatha izithelo.”' Share your dialogues with the class and discuss the different ideas presented.

For your independent practice, write a short story about a day in your life. Use at least five sentences and remember to include correct punctuation and spacing.
