Now that we have read the story, let's form small groups. Each group will discuss the following questions: What did Thandi discover in nature? How did her discoveries make her feel? Each group will have 10 minutes to discuss, and then we will share our thoughts with the class. Remember to listen to your classmates and respond to their ideas.

For this activity, you will write three sentences about your favorite place in nature. Use correct punctuation and spacing. After writing, pair up with a partner and read your sentences aloud to each other. Make sure to listen carefully and provide feedback on each other's sentences.
