In the garden, she met a talking rabbit who became her friend. Together, they had many adventures.' Notice how the story has a clear beginning, middle, and end, and uses punctuation correctly.
Now, let’s work together to create a story. I will start with a sentence: 'It was a rainy day, and Sipho was feeling bored.' What do you think should happen next? Let’s brainstorm ideas as a class. Remember to think about how Sipho can turn his boredom into an adventure. We will write down our ideas and then put them together to form a short story.
