Christianity is based on the teachings of Jesus Christ. Christians believe in one God and follow the Bible as their holy scripture. Key beliefs include the importance of love, forgiveness, and salvation through faith in Jesus. For example, Christians celebrate Christmas to commemorate the birth of Jesus and Easter to celebrate his resurrection.

In small groups, discuss the main beliefs of Islam. Muslims believe in one God (Allah) and follow the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad as recorded in the Quran. Key practices include the Five Pillars of Islam, which are faith, prayer, charity, fasting, and pilgrimage. Each group will share their findings with the class, highlighting how these beliefs influence the daily lives of Muslims.

Choose one of the four religions we discussed: Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, or Buddhism. Conduct research to find out more about its beliefs, practices, and cultural significance. Create a poster or a digital presentation to share your findings with the class. Be prepared to explain how this religion impacts the lives of its followers.
