Consider a scenario where a student notices that their school is not recycling properly. Instead of ignoring the issue, the student decides to speak to the teachers and organize a recycling campaign. This action demonstrates social responsibility by taking initiative to improve the school's environmental practices. Another example is when a student helps a classmate who is struggling with their homework, showing respect and support for others.

In small groups, discuss the following questions: What are some examples of social responsibility you see in your community? How can you contribute to making your school a better place? After discussing, each group will share their ideas with the class. This will help students understand different perspectives and the importance of collective action in fostering a responsible community.

Reflect on your own behavior and identify one area where you can improve in terms of social responsibility. Write down a specific goal you want to achieve in the next month. For example, you might aim to help a neighbor, participate in a community clean-up, or be more respectful in your interactions with classmates.
